SUMMARY:Return to the Wild Within
DESCRIPTION:A 3-day small-group Alberta horse & nature retreat guided by Chantel White \nJune 5–7 | Riverside Acres Retreat PropertyJust north of St. Albert\, Alberta \nNo horse experience needed \n\nBy the river.\n Under big skies.\n Away from the noise. \nThere comes a point where more thinking doesn’t help. \nYou’ve read the books.\n You understand your patterns.\n You can explain why you react the way you do. \nAnd yet… your body still feels tight.\n Your mind still runs.\n You still carry responsibility that doesn’t feel like it was ever fully chosen. \nThis weekend is not about learning more. \nIt’s about finally giving your system enough space to settle so you can hear yourself again. \nWhat This Retreat Is (and isn’t)\nReturn to the Wild Within is a small-group immersive experience designed to help you slow down\, reconnect to your body\, and listen to your own inner clarity without constant pressure\, noise\, or performance. \nThis is not a workshop\, therapy program\, or lecture weekend. It’s a guided experiential retreat. \n \nFor three days\, you step out of managing life and into:\n nature\n quiet\n honest conversation\n guided experiences with horses \nNo phone buzzing every five minutes.\n No fixing yourself.\n No pretending you’re fine. \nJust room to breathe and notice what’s actually true for you. You are free to participate at your own pace the entire weekend. \nWhy Nature and Horses\nThis retreat is not about riding horses or learning horsemanship. \nThe herd simply creates an environment where honesty becomes easier. \nHorses respond to presence — not your words\, your role\, or how well you explain yourself. Around them\, people often notice\, gently and quickly:\n where they over-give\n where they hold back\n where they lose their voice\n where they don’t trust themselves \n \nI guide what you notice and help you understand how it connects to your real life — relationships\, decisions\, boundaries\, and direction. \nThe horses don’t change your life. \nClarity does. \nThe Setting — Riverside Acres\nWe will gather at Riverside Acres\, a peaceful 14-acre retreat property surrounded by trees\, open sky\, and river landscape. \nSimple shared cabins\n Outdoor shower & washrooms\n Healthy\, nourishing meals\n Space to walk\, sit\, rest\, or be quiet \nThe simplicity is intentional. \nWhen the environment quiets\, your nervous system does too. \nLocated approximately 30 minutes north of St. Albert or 20 minutes southeast of Westlock.\n Detailed directions are sent after registration. \nWhat the Weekend Looks Like\nArrival: Friday at 3:00 PM\n Departure: Sunday at 12:00 PM \nFriday — Settling In\nArrival\, cabin setup\, meeting the group and the land.\n Gentle introduction to the herd.\n The focus is on grounding and safety. \nSaturday — Experiential Work\nGuided time with the horses\, reflection\, and group conversation.\n This is where people begin recognizing patterns they couldn’t see while inside daily life. \nThere is space between sessions for rest\, walks\, journaling\, or quiet conversation. \nSunday — Integration & Closing\nOn the final morning\, we shift into integration. \nWe close with a guided water ceremony led by Rev. DeeAnne Rose Hope Riendeau (Akashic practitioner and intuitive guide) to help you release what you’re finished carrying and leave grounded in what you’re stepping into next. \nWho This Is For\nThis retreat is open to both women and men.\n Group size is intentionally small (maximum 14) and participants are chosen carefully to maintain a respectful\, grounded environment. \nYou may feel drawn if: \n\n You’ve done personal growth or therapy work already\n • You understand your patterns but still feel them in your body\n • You feel mentally aware but physically exhausted\n • You overthink conversations or decisions\n • You avoid necessary conversations\n • You’re entering a transition or next chapter\n • You sense what you need most right now is quiet and space\n\nYou do not need horse experience.\n You do not need to consider yourself spiritual. \nOnly willingness and a bit of curiosity. \nWhat People Often Leave With\n\n calmer nervous system\n • clearer boundaries\n • more confidence in decisions\n • less rumination\n • trust in their perception\n • a sense of direction\n\nNot motivation. \nClarity. \nWhat’s Included\nYour retreat experience includes: \n• guided time with the herd (no riding required)• facilitated group experiences with Chantel• guided reflection and grounding practices• drumming circle• closing water ceremony for integration• quiet time on the land and by the river• small group circle conversations• 2 nights shared cabin accommodations• healthy\, nourishing meals throughout the weekend• a preparation email and packing list before arrival \nYou are not expected to perform\, share more than you want\, or have prior experience with horses or meditation. \nEverything is guided and optional at your comfort level. \nWhat past participants have shared\n\n“It felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders.”— Patty \n\n\n“It was freeing… like dancing in your living room when no one is watching.”— Linda \n\nInvestment\nEarly Bird: $997 (until April 20)\n Regular Price: $1\,197 \nLimited to 14 participants. \nPayment Options\n\n Pay in full\n • 3 monthly payments of $333\n • $250 non-refundable deposit to hold your space (balance due May 15)\n\nA short call with Chantel is required before confirmation to ensure the group remains supportive and safe for everyone. \nRetreat Cancellation Policy  \nYou might be wondering…Retreat FAQ\nAbout Chantel White\nChantel White is a Wild Truth Mentor and the founder of Equine Reflection.
